The idea was to create an ensemble of buildings in neo-baroque style as centrepiece of a complex grouped around Villa Speyer, which itself is a mansion rebuilt in its original form after severe wartime damage, on a property in bad need of redevelopment close to downtown Frankfurt. Today, the 5-star-plus hotel Villa Kennedy meets the highest standards regarding quality of materials, technical fit-out, and security.

MIPIM Award 2006 in the hotel category: The master plan covering architecture, building structure, and execution of the building was commended at the MIPIM in Cannes, the world’s largest real estate trade fair, where it won the 2006 award in the category Hotels & Tourist Resorts. The mix of redevelopment and new construction attracted particular attention.

Das von der Fay Gruppe entwickelte und realisierte Deluxe-Hotel Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt am Main hat gestern den MIPIM Award 2006 in der Kategorie Hotels/Freizeitanlagen gewonnen. Die Besucher der weltgrößten Immobilienmesse in Cannes gaben der Villa Kennedy den Vorzug vor den beiden anderen Finalisten Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort in Monaco und Kruisherenhotel in Maastricht.Der MIPIM Award wird alljährlich in den fünf Kategorien Business Center, Einkaufszentren, Redevelopment von Büroimmobilien, Wohngebäude und Hotel/Freizeitanlagen vergeben.
