Mannheim / Berlin, 26 July 2024 – FAY Projects has let two further office areas in the MITZSCH project at Maximilianstraße 1 in Leipzig. Sage GmbH has signed for 1,170 square metres on a seven-year lease. The software company is a leader in integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems. In addition, an American electronics wholesaler is taking around 600 square metres of office space for five years.

With these two leases, pre-letting at MITZSCH rises to over 60 per cent. Completion of the new building is planned for this year. The lease with Sage GmbH was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield. The Leipzig office letting team at the agency Colliers International advised on the letting to the electronics wholesaler.

“A pre-letting rate that is already slightly above the wider market at this stage confirms the quality of our product,” says Manuel Oltersdorf, Authorised Signatory at FAY Projects. “We are currently in discussions with numerous interested parties, among them companies from the IT sector.”

MITZSCH offers a total of 10,500 square metres of individually configurable lettable space across six floors and is being built using a system construction method. “From the enclosed single office to the open area for exchange and teamwork, tenants at MITZSCH can realise any spatial concept and have the space designed around their individual requirements,” says Oltersdorf.

An underground car park with 64 spaces is being built on the lower level. DGNB Gold certification is also being sought, and construction is to the KfW 55 standard. Climate protection and environmental standards meet the requirements of the EU taxonomy. Alongside modern technology for efficient consumption, FAY Projects is planning extensive planting on the roof and courtyard areas and the installation of the building’s own solar array. Detailed project information and the options for configuring the space can be found at www.mitzsch.de.
