FAY Projects signs Limehome as a tenant in Chemnitz
- Long-term lease signed for approximately 1,850 sqm
Mannheim / Berlin, 18 June 2026 – FAY Projects has signed a long-term lease with Limehome for around 1,850 sqm at Stefan-Heym-Platz 3 in Chemnitz. The space will be used as serviced apartments and will complement the accommodation already available at the location.
With this agreement the property gains an established provider of digital hospitality concepts. The new serviced apartments complement the existing hotel offering and strengthen the building’s position as an attractive place to stay in the heart of Chemnitz.
“Chemnitz is an exciting market for us, with growing importance for both tourism and business. Together with FAY Projects we are creating a modern hospitality offering that further strengthens the appeal of the location and gives guests a comfortable, contemporary stay,” says Matthias Maas, Vice President Expansion DACH+ & BeNeLux at Limehome.
Limehome is one of the leading providers of serviced apartments in Europe. Once the planned fit-out is complete, the company will operate around 50 units at the location.
“With Limehome we have secured a renowned operator for the property, one that sensibly extends the location’s mix of uses and lastingly increases its appeal,” says Manuel Oltersdorf, Authorised Signatory for Letting & Acquisition.
With this letting FAY Projects continues the successful development of the location and at the same time strengthens the property’s long-term value.
